Enhancing the lips is the least complicated and a very easy way to beautify the face.
There is one thing we can all agree about: YOUR LIPS SHOULD NEVER LOOK TOO ”DONE”. In order to improve their appearance, many women want to plump up thin lips or create a fuller look. Unfortunately, there are many poor lip and facial injections done. As any other procedure, lip augmentation requires a lot of responsibility and it is important to be well-informed and find the right option to improve the appearance of your lips.
How do I know I am a good candidate for lip augmentation?
Not every woman is a candidate! If you look in the mirror and find that when you smile your upper and lower lip disappear, you may consider yourself a good candidate who will benefit from lip augmentation.
The reasons why you should consider lip enhancement are as follows:
- Natural unevenness
- You have an unflattering shape of the mouth or your gum shows when you smile
- Any scarring of the lips
- You have thin lips or lost lip volume with maturity
- You feel self-conscious about how your lips look
- Having fuller lips will help balance your face
I bet you didn’t know…
When you augment the lips, the lower lip should be plumped up the most because it is always the center of attention. So, if your doctor enhances the lips and your upper lip is almost the same size as your lower lip, be aware that the balance in the lip area has been destroyed. The upper lip should actually be no more than 1/2 the size of the lower lip and at most 2/3 the size of the lower lip.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers – The less is more
Considering the fact that most of us don’t have a perfect lip shape, an experienced doctor will sculpt the lips in relation to your facial proportions. According to our clients, mini lip augmentation with dermal fillers is the most satisfying method because the volume can be easily controlled and lips instantly look natural. Also, don’t neglect the fact that fine needles don’t cause bumps nor a lot of bruises.
One treatment is usually sufficient to produce the desired result. The results, however, will be temporary and require repeated injections.
Remember: Every individual is unique and requires a different approach.
