Microdermabrasion, originating in Europe, is a gentle method of skin resurfacing that uses laser free technology to painlessly improve skin texture and discoloration. The procedure uses a vacuum action wand that gently ablates the skin as it also encourages blood flow to the area, generating collagen and tightening the dermis. Pore size and fine lines are reduced while surface imperfections are faded or eradicated often with one treatment, while subsequent treatments will generate even more dramatic improvements.
