Now there is a way to heal and regain strength faster with Emsculpt™.
WHY IS EMSCULPT ALSO THERAPEUTIC?
In addition to providing aesthetic muscle tone Emsculpt is also used as a therapeutic tool to help people rehabilitate from injury, surgery, chronic pain and instances of muscle atrophy. Emsculpt is a device that uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to deliver a stimulating pulse to your muscles. This causes a muscle contraction, the same contraction you would exert in your muscles when lifting a weight. Emsculpt strengthens muscles in areas that support the joints, relieving strain and also support the spine by building back and core muscles.
CONDITIONS THAT CAN BE TREATED WITH EMSCULPT:
- Muscle injury
- Muscle Atrophy
- Muscle weakness
- Joint pain
- Weak core muscles
- Back and neck pain
- Sports injury
HOW EMSCULPT THERAPEUTIC CAN HELP:
- Recover from knee surgery
- Strengthen core muscles to relieve back pain
- Improve mobility
- Activate and strengthen weak or atrophied muscles
- Rehabilitate after injury
- Increase overall fitness and strength
- Improve sports performance
- Prepare for surgery
- Prepare and recover from child birth
Candidates for the rehabilitative features of EMSCULPT also include those who may be considering surgery to the knee, lumbar spine, or shoulder but want to avoid surgery or strengthen their muscles prior to surgery, and those who have weakness after these surgeries. We also treat athletes who are trying to maintain ultra-high levels of fitness but who may have had an injury and need to quickly return to play.
WHAT IS AN EMSCULPT SESSION LIKE?
An Emsculpt treatment session lasts for 30 minutes per area. The device has two paddle attachments to treat simultaneously. For example, a buttocks session allows us to work both glutes at the same time or both thighs at the same time etc. Each session produces 20,000 muscle contractions, burning stubborn fat and strengthening the targeted muscles. The sensation is not painful but is an intense contraction with some cramping.
