LED LIGHT THERAPY WITH CELLUMA™
The Celluma™ device uses blue and red light phototherapy to help correct acne issues as well as offer anti-aging benefits. The blue lights focus in eliminating pore clogging bacteria while the red light stimulates collagen production. The resulting effect improves redness, scars, texture, fine lines and skintone. A series of treatments performed at least once per week for the first 4 – 6 weeks are recommended for best results and regular scheduled sessions should be scheduled for long lasting improvements.
How to prepare for your treatment, and what to expect: For two weeks prior to a light therapy session, you may need to avoid retinols, glycolic acid and other skin care products that can thin or irritate your skin. Avoid tanning beds and prolonged, unprotected sun exposure in the days just before your treatment appointments. After your LED Light treatment your skin may be pink or red. There might be some mild skin peeling or sensitivity from the treated area. We recommend not using any scrubs or exfoliants for a few days following your treatment. While we recommend you wear sunscreen every day, you will want to be even more vigilant with sunblock while your skin recovers.
