Sun damage, age, pregnancy and environmental factors all contribute to anti-aging. One of the most prominent signs of aging is pigmentation, especially on the face neck and hands. Pigmentation can present as a brown spot/sun spot or melasma (from pregnancy) or as redness from rosacea and vascular issues.
WHAT IS AN IPL PHOTOFACIAL?
All pigmentation issues have one thing in common: they are a deeper tone than your regular skin which means we can target them in the most efficient way possible. Photofacials, are treatments that use an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) pigment sensing laser that essentially zaps away discoloration while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT.
Results like the ones pictured above can be achieved over a series of treatment sessions. Noticeable improvements can be seen after your first treatment but for optimal results we recommend 2 – 6 sessions, depending on your goal and condition severity.

In addition to your IPL sessions, we recommend using medical grade skin resurfacing skincare to further reduce and prevent future pigment issues. Unfortunately the only way to remove redness from spider veins is with a Photofacial, but issues like brown spots can be improved using exfoliating skincare. When treating Rosacea, we recommend using gentle products with skin balancing properties. Soothing the area is they key to redness reduction.
